    how useful are the mitigators, an can yall recomend some goos 5/6 stars just got the second map

    Have you considered gazia for summoner mode he should be good as a 6s with both conversion I don't really play summoner mode but I think gazia should work well there

    Mitigation seems to be an on/off thing so far, so I'd say they're dependent on your appropriate Summoning Arts level.
    ------
    -Low SA level, their BC cost is expensive as all hell and might be worth skipping over in preference of other utility buffs.

    -Mid/High SA level, mitigators like :dark: Laberd can be pretty reliable/awesome due to being able to properly fill their bb gauges.

    As far as map progression goes, you don't necessarily need mitigators. Mitigation is hard keep up every turn since it only last for 1 turn for all 5/6 * mitigators. Lack of unit slot to generate bc and bb gauge penalty also contribute to this issue. You are better off relying on DEF and DEF conversion buffs as it is more than enough to keep you alive throughout Vilanciel.

    Mitigators will however be helpful in the upcoming Summoner Avatar Battle Hall (SM Trial) for the whip weapon coming in tomorrow after maintenance. In this mode AFAIK, there are no unit slot restriction. So you can bring a full 6 unit squad covering all the necessary buffs.

    A few good mitigators option in SM (generally having good buff other than mitigation):
    :earth: Dolk (mitigation+DEF+ailment cure)
    :light: Krantz (mitgation+ailment cure+D/L element add)
    :dark: Laberd (mitigation+DEF+BB fill when attacked)
