Overview: Aside from being one classy motherfucker, Vesti (fuck you I'm not calling her Bestie) is also both the namesake of her batch and probably the most dominantly powerful of the set - sporting a variety of extremely useful (and rare) buffs on her SBB and a very versatile and powerful leader skill, she's easy to fit into most teams in either a lead or sub role, and will bring a LOT to the vast majority of teams when you do bring her along. Great lead, good generic friend to bring along, safe sub, even a great arena unit, though we'll get more into that later. She DOES have some competition for some of her roles though, and unlike her absolute dominance on JP she actually has some legitimate competition on Global, possibly with more incoming depending on whether or not Andaria embraces her BC generation abilities as a 7 - but having some competition is FAR from the same thing as Vesti suddenly magically being bad.

Strengths

Prrrrobably the most slot efficient BC generation sub in the game, only really competed against by Diana there, but unlike Diana she doesn't have massive buff clash with better units so Vesti is very easy to fit into most teams

+1 hit ES means that her basic attacks turn her into a walking BC battery, and hit pretty hard to boot

BB also offers BC regen for 3 turns and an instant refill, not great per se but situationally useful

Not that this is exactly anything new for RS 7s, but her stats are pretty good, almost hitting 3k attack post-imps

The absolute worst thing I can say about her is that she has legitimate competition who may SITUATIONALLY be more useful than her, but she's generally better on a generic level

May have to spray with water bottle if she starts goose stepping or talking in German

Roles
Arena

Normally, this is the part where I'd say she's the best Fire sub in a Quaidbow team until Michele hits

3000 attack, 78DCs after ES, and very strong HP cap along with a MTBB is a REALLY good combo

However, global just got real fuckin' interesting thanks to Ultor, who beats her in damage even WITH her ES going, and is also MUCH more survivable than her thanks to much larger innate defense buffs (though slightly lower base) and more importantly, a 100% full heal Angel Idol ES

Does that make her bad? Oh god no, Vesti is still easily one of the strongest possible fire subs available in arena today and for the foreseeable future; even when Michele hits she's still very viable

However, the question of if she's the best rather than just viable is now a lot harder to answer

Put simply, Ultor fills a Selena-esque role of being incredibly difficult to put down while doing immense damage, and unlike Selena, he doesn't have much trouble making it to round 3 thanks to Taunt making him incredibly tanky from his full-heal ES vs her 1hp survival ES

Vesti isn't nearly as survivable, but she does excel at BC generation where Ultor doesn't (78 vs... 22 I think) and has a MTBB where he doesn't, so she's much better at round 2 wipes. She also benefits heavily from high +attack leads (Toutetsu) due to her ES essentially double dipping on attack buffs; Toutetsu+Sky Harbinger (+360% attack) take her up to a fucking 920% basic attack, ~30600 damage pre-defense. Compared to Ultor breaking 40k that might not sound as impressive - but spoiler alert, you only really need to break ~15k damage to reliably oneshot most arena enemies, ~20k to oneshot the absolutely tankiest shit you can find, and ~30k to oneshot almost everything even with mitigation or half damage random rule going

tl;dr: Vesti is better if you need hella BC gen and round 2 wipes, Ultor is better as a brutal immortal monster who goes around fucking everything to death

...Or you can just use Ultor lead and Vesti sub to fix his LS/attack shitty BC gen. HELLO MONO-SATAN TEAM!

Actually, funny thing, Vargas lead works pretty well with them subs too; I wouldn't say monofire is the next best thing (fucking enemy Selenas everywhere man) but it's actually reasonably viable now

Or you could just use Toutetsu lead, Selena/Ultor/Vesti/whoever subs, and have the best of every world

Raid

Hmm, a place filled with enemies who hit you with lots of AOEs, where BC gen is at a premium, and where HP leader skills are useful

I WONDER IF VESTI MIGHT BE GOOD HERE

Spoilers: yes

Raid is definitely one of Vesti's strongest suits for pretty much all the reasons listed throughout the review so far; great BC gen, easy to fit in, great LS...

However, she does have some fairly global-unique competition in the form of (don't laugh) Alice, whose synergy with Deimos is pretty great, between them offering an Ares buff, 40% HP, and a strong BC on hit permabuff that can't be wiped, unlike Vesti's SBB buff.

Alice's SBB conversion rivaling a ~140-160% (or higher) attack buff in this scenario actually makes her a strong competitor for Vesti in the incredibly high HP setting of RC4/5 raid bosses; as crit teams crash and burn, spark, BB damage, and attack buffs/conversions have all become vastly more useful

So... does that make Vesti shit? Oh god no, she's still great, and sometimes you actually do want/need both Vesti's BC on hit AND Deimos's BC on hit for BC gen. RC5 is not a fun place.

Essentially, this actually boils down to a comparison very similar to Ultor vs Vesti - Vesti brings better individual utility/BC gen IF you need it, but if you don't, Alice's reasonably large damage lead (true values vary depending on team and spheres, but generally gonna be ~10%+ more team damage, possibly higher) will help you pull off higher contribution and faster kills in general

PERSONALLY I prefer Alice due to my massive ladyboner for Deimos, but if you don't have/use Deimos or Tridon (Tridon LS has 50% rec for Alice to play with) then Vesti is probably a better pick overall - it's not like extra BC on hit ever hurt anyone, right?

It's also worth noting Kikuri, Diana, and Medina as competition, but honestly - Diana got shat on by Tridon and Vesti finishes the job, Medina isn't that amazing either, and Kikuri... well Kikuri is still really good, personally I use her a ton, but if you aren't getting much value from her ailments then she arguably falls to Vesti as well - kinda depends - her SBB DCs obliterate Vesti's on multiple targets but BC drop resistance muddles things

...And most of RC5 is vulnerable as fuck to ailments, so Kikuri shines there as well. Really just use whichever fits your team better

Trials

Hoooo boy, the competition starts getting real fuckin' thin here

In a world dominated by an absolute need for maximum slot efficiency, where you can NEVER have too much BC gen, Vesti fits like a glove

Again she has basically the same competition, and again most of them are very usable

However, here her LS is arguably more valuable due to the absolute premium on BC control, so it's usually easier to slot her into a squad in terms of overall value

Also, again, Vesti's all-in-one utility makes her extremely valuable

Not gonna make any big judgement calls about her actually being BETTER than her competition here, especially if you prefer Deimos lead, but she's a very strong option

Frontier Hunter

Runs into the exact same issues as Kikuri and Alice here - BC on hit (unless innate) is completely worthless to most FH approaches, and unlike Alice she doesn't even offer great damage to go along with the Ares buff for 1TKO Terminus squads

Still, decent individual damage and Ares buff do ensure that she's perfectly usable here, if a little ghetto at times, mostly as a 2TKO ghetto squad sub

Sorry guys I know this section sucks, but FH is a really stupid place and the 'meta' there is very constrictive

Seriously though as long as you're getting your target goals each season, or at least the Legwand from Term, just do whatever works

Synergies

Vesti DOES NOT offer BC% buffs, so she works best in teams that provide one of those - her Ares buff makes them much stronger (or vice versa, if you prefer to look at it that way)

BC on hit from leader skills can be REALLY fun with a BC/hit buff. Deimos is probably the most 'meta' example of this; 7-12 BC every time you get hit is lulzy as fuck

Overall

An exceptionally versatile and powerful unit who has an uncommonly broad range of strengths, extremely useful in arena, trials, and raids alike

Has no real superiors; at best her competition is situationally on par or better, and her future prospects are pretty bright as well, at least until Rivera hits and ruins everything, GG flower booby waifu

Wait... that sounds familiar

Final Rating: 9/10. While she does suffer from a bit of extra competition on global and struggles with the upcoming (and ridiculously overpowered) Rivera who eclipses her BC on hit spot while offer 500 times more utility in general, Vesti's LS and buff profile are a strong combination that keep her perfectly viable for the foreseeable future

Overview: Hellllllooooooo nurse. Ninja. Whatever. Sporting some of the more unique art (is her scroll a dragon?) in the game and failing HORRIBLY at stealth by dint of a bodacious bod, Kagura simultaneously manages to be the token sexy ninja cosplayer and carve a niche for herself so small that she might as well not exist - holy shit, she IS a ninja, this was her plan all along! Seriously though implying I wasn't serious she is unfortunately fairly niche, helping Thunder units rekt Water enemies, and Water units rekt Fire enemies, and... doing absolutely nothing else of value because 20% atk down pretty much just sucks. Sorry hun. UBB sucks too, it's a roughly 99% chance of -60% enemy attack and adds +2 hitcount at normal damage - even JP has plenty of units with FAR better UBBs, and global has completely retarded monsters like Zenia to laugh as they dance on her UBB's grave. Bring her for the SBB or don't bring her at all.

Strengths

Is REALLY good at helping monothunder teams shrek water enemies, and monowater (+Kag) teams shrek Fire enemies

Looks REALLY good - may distract enemies from murdering the rest of your team (is that how atk down works?)

Is REALLY good at contorting spine apparently

Very unique fashion sense

Weaknesses

99% of the game is NOT monothunder/water vs water/fire enemies

Even in the parts that are, usually you want more from a single unit slot than a decent damage boost and really shitty attack down

Kunoichi are not good long-term waifu commitments

Beware of paper cuts in uncomfortable places

Roles
Arena

3k attack, 30DC, MTBB, is sexy

Unfortunately, Griel and Deimos both come to mind immediately as better thunder subs, and others exist

Perfectly usable as a monothunder sub or as a thunder sub in a Quaidbow, but not really amazing - just usable

Raid

Not that bad situationally, even weak attack down can help a bit, and if you're doing stuff like Tazer vs Bal Media, she can speed things up a bit

Honestly not that great overall though, most raid bosses, ESPECIALLY in RC5, are multiple elements and it's very difficult to run a mono, much more a monothunder/water

Trials

Can be good for Seria EX trial; you already want to run a water-heavy team there, they're all fire element... works out pretty well for faster kills

Gotta be honest with ya here though, water/fire trials are a rarity otherwise though and being decent in 1 trial isn't exactly a shining recommendation when she's 100% useless in most of the rest

Overall

Hate to say it considering how much I love her art/concept, but she's really just EXTREMELY niche and 100% worthless most of the time

That doesn't mean fuse her if you get her, she has her uses, just I wouldn't recommend summoning for her

Overall rating: 4/10. Minimal utility, minimal primary use, niche is very small and fairly uncommon

Overview: The OG of infinite multitarget SBBs, Nemeth Gear got a pretty crazy amount of hype on release that he initially failed to live up to before people realized his UBB was pretty good on stuff that you can critsplode. Unfortunately, outside of that he doesn't do a whole lot to earn a slot in /most/ situations; in raid you're generally better off using someone who contributes to team - Alice SBB has a similar buff profile, but MUCH better, and offers more damage individually and drastically more for team, for example. Still, he has his uses; plenty of trials feature alternating between single enemies and multiple targets, and as mentioned his extremely offensive UBB has very strong situational use as well. Disabuse yourself of the notion about infinite-use SBB being super godmode overpowered or even all that useful generally now, but he's still a pretty solid unit

Strengths

Infinite SBB is pretty nice once it gets going - not having to worry about refilling it is obviously cool in situations with low BC gen

Ares buff is always useful. I mean, it's literally just free bonus value for your BC

UBB is incredibly powerful on anything not crit immune - can oneshot many enemies that would otherwise require a much longer and arduous battle

Weaknesses

SBB offers jack fucking shit for utility except for the Ares buff, and much better units (Vesti, Alice, Exvehl I guess) have it, with more to come

UBB is awesome on paper - but crit chance/resistance is a very real thing, and Nemeth UBB is pretty fuckin' trash when it's there. It's still good situationally, gets used to great effect on JP to this day for certain stuff, just not really your solution to everything or even most things

Individual damage really isn't that high compared to most of his 'real' competition. Yes he has an +80% attack ES, but Alice has a ~140-160% boost (that applies to her AND her team), Zenia is chilling with +200% BB mod on top of her own +110% attack ES... the list goes on. Nemeth is really just pretty bad damage overall unless his UBB is up AND the enemy is vulnerable to it

SBB is pretty expensive to even get to (53BC), which can fuck him over bad in heavy BC drain situations

Requires a crit buffer in team for UBB to do jack fucking shit whatsoever

Roles
Arena

3k attack, 30DC, MTBB - not a bad setup, especially with an ES that boosts turn 2 BB damage significantly

Unfortunately, much like Kagura, he really doesn't do much else. Units that can hit ~2800-3k attack and ~30DC with multitarget BBs are a dime a dozen these days, and his BB isn't anything particularly special either

Perfectly usable as a sub, but probably not your best option

Raid

Look I'm just gonna be blunt here, Alice is literally just a better Nemeth Gear here on pretty much every level unless you're getting great use out of his UBB

What does that mean? It means you study your fucking opponent, look it up to see if they're crit immune, and decide whether or not to go to town with Nemeth

Honestly though, with most RC4/5 raid bosses, you want to kill a specific body part (usually crit resistant/immune) first, then just blow up the rest of it (which is also commonly crit resistant/immune). Nemeth doesn't help much, especially compared to Alice

If you're just looking to speedclear a raid quest and the main body isn't crit immune, though, Nemeth CAN be pretty good

Trials

Nemeth is kinda weird here - not necessarily in a bad way, just... weird

He shines in trials where you want to kill multiple people simultaneously, and sucks dongers compared to Yuura/Oguro in situations where you want to kill specific targets first

Non-crit-immune/resistance trials can be cheesed pretty hard with Nemeth, though, especially if you bring a Hero Crystal along, ESPECIALLY once the JP UBB revamp comes that lets it not waste a turn

I hesitate to say he's GOOD for trials per se, most approaches will benefit more from Oguro/Yura/Alice/Vesti whatever, but he can be very usable!

Frontier Hunter

If you already have a pretty good array of offensive buffs, Nemeth can fit an Alice-ish role of adding both Ares buff and decent damage in one unit for some Terminus 1TKO squads

Unfortunately, he lacks her team attack buff, so he contributes much less

On the flip side, infinite MTSBB can actually be pretty handy in Terminus thanks to the 1 unit rooms

Overall not a bad option per se; I feel Alice brings more overall but Nemeth is perfectly usable here for those of us who just want to autobattle Term

Synergies

Crit buffer (required for UBB to not be complete garbage)

Units that can spark well together (sry Tridon/Deimos/Kikuri/Sefia/etc, you guys are cool but not the best sparkers)

People who give him useful buffs 'cuz god knows he doesn't do much of that himself, ayyy

Overall

Situational but very usable unit who looks cool as fuck

Best used tactically for specific purposes rather than as a general-use option; outclassed horribly as the latter, can be very strong as former

Requires setup and knowledge of target to actually do much even with UBB, but does A LOT if you do so

Overall Rating: 7/10, situationally useful and never BAD per se, but his niche isn't that huge for the most part

Overview: Reyes has had an... interesting lifespan. On release, he was seen as literally just a better Colt, sporting a slightly improved LS with better BC gen and damage, a SBB that added an additional 50% crit damage, and an additional +100% crit damage himself to ensure that he hit drastically harder than Colt and additionally boosted team damage by a bit more.

Then Glyph happened.

Sporting an identical LS and multiple additional buffs on SBB (30% Ares, Fire/Water retyping) while still getting the same crit chance buff to team from ES, on top of a MUCH better HP total (seriously, we're talking about 600 more HP), he pretty much literally just removed any reason for Reyes to exist. And this is AFTER the great Crit Exodus of 2015, with crit leads already falling off - Glyph offers MUCH more as a sub (and lead) than Reyes ever did. This isn't even a Zenia vs Raaga thing, where the difference isn't THAT huge and a Raaga works decently enough, this is a guy who literally does everything Reyes ever did, and then adds MULTIPLE strong and useful buffs on top of that, along with immensely better HP.

Unfortunately, the sheer level of outclassed Reyes has to deal with means that there's very little reason to actually write a full review on him. If you have one, he's a slightly better Colt, but he will be obliterated in the very next RS batch by Glyph... and Glyph will be a very common friend lead, so it's not like it'll even be hard to find one. There's no reason to summon for him whatsoever, and considering how utterly he'll be outclassed, you're honestly probably better just relying on Colt in the meantime. He does look pretty cool though, she has that going for him...

Overview: I know I'm like a kid in a fuckin candy shop here every time I like someone's art, but I'd really like to take a moment to talk about how fuckin AWESOME this guy's art is. He's some super samurai badass, looks kinda like a preying mantis or some shit and hits like 400 trucks. Overall usefulness wise, unfortunately he falls behind a little due to only offering a single offensive buff, one that isn't THAT strong to be worth a slot by itself, and a very common buff at that; even before 7 Michele arrives and shreks his existence, Deimos offers a perfectly usable 100% attack buff, and he's not exactly rare, much less limited in use otherwise. Slamurai bro still has his uses though, while he's not exactly maximum meta.

Short review on DoT mechanics, honestly doing this mostly from memory, read my Magnazorda review (or I think Xerte on Reddit also did an analysis) for more details

DoT has 100% proc rate and cannot be resisted

Damage is based on attack, not enemy HP

Scales with attack boosts, but DOES NOT benefit from crits, sparks, BB damage mods, elements, etc

tl;dr version decent damage in trials/arena, falls off hard in raids when you have more damage mods

Strengths

Pretty good individual damage thanks to his monstrous attack stat

REALLY rips shit up in arena

140% attack buff is never not good

Weaknesses

Limited (read: nonexistent) utility

Actual damage contribution in raids etc is fairly low

Clashes horribly with Deimos and the future Michele in particular

Roles
Arena

Kotatsu's main claim to fame and what he's best known for

130% attack buff round 1 is kinda big, and by kinda I mean pretty much highest in game

Round 2, his BB is basically a guaranteed wipe - DoT that big, with that much attack, is gonna turn the bad guys into a fine paste

Synergizes INCREDIBLY well with bonus hit ESes/spheres (Vesti ES, Lexida, Halloween spheres) due to attack buffs double dipping on bonus hits; NO ONE does 'you fucking die round 1' teams better than Kotatsu here

Special note to Vesti and Selena synergy, but in general he also works well with high attack people like Ultor who appreciate the little extra push to straight up murder everyone

In the future, Michele offers strong competition, and currently Quaid already does, but Kotatsu's lack of sub element requirements makes him a very strong arena lead even if he lacks a bit in utility, /arguably/ the best or at least one of the best

Raid

Okay, look, I'm gonna level with you here, Brotatsu here is not a great raid unit

Yes, he has an attack buff, but that's about it. Individual damage isn't amazing, a 140% attack buff doesn't change much (especially when Deimos is everywhere and gives 100% for free, or Ultor for 200%), and DoT sucks ass in extremely high-damage environments with crit/spark/elements in play

That doesn't mean he's total ass, switching between BB and SBB gives him a solid overall damage contribution, but in general you have better options for both attack and crit buffs, and in the future you have WAY better options for both

Ark and Michele are both nearly omnipresent in the future, and on global, the ever-awesome Deimos and his adopted brother Ultor also offer extremely strong attack buff competition

Crit wise, Michele again matches him (and has much better utility/damage), while Glyph is a terrifyingly powerful sub as well. Even Reyes/Colt do the job better.

Trials

Well... he's fun for cheesing Zevalhua with Ruby UBB and double Kotatsu lead, but real dawg talk, that's not a legit approach for the actually hard trials

He's honestly not that bad as a pure DPS sub in general though, especially in multitarget trials; crit/attack buffs in one guy is cool (granted, Michele is better), and his DoT can really shine here

Frontier Hunter

This FH specifically he's actually very solid as an attack buffer in oneshot teams; Deimos's inability to spark worth shit andlack of ability to get refills via BC on hit mean that he's not great for 1TKO teams, while Kotatsu is easy to fund and offers better offensive ability

Longer term though, Michele is literally him but better for 1TKO and she's probably no more than 1-1.5 months out at most

Synergies

Anyone with an attack->whatever conversion really likes a chunky attack buff, with 7 Melchio coming to mind as a guy with a great atk->def conversion

Multiple hit abilities (ES, BB, sphere, UBB buffs; think Lexida, Ruby/Sefia/Zenia UBB, etc) all work VERY well with attack buffs thanks to essentially cloning the buff multiple times

Overall

So look, here's the deal, I'm not gonna lie and tell you Kotatsu is great. He's niche. Limited. He's good at arena and situationally usable elsewhere, not some Deimos/Zenia level demigod

...But I'm not gonna sit here and tell you he's shit either. Arguably the best arena lead, situationally usable elsewhere, and pretty good in Terminus 1TKO squads as well. Even useful for some basic attack cheesing.

Don't be disappointed if you got him, he honestly is a solid unit, it's just that like many units he has a niche rather than being universal. Use the niche. Own it. BE THE NICHE. Just don't expect unrealistic things from him.

Final rating: 7/10. A solid unit with a strong niche who is unfortunately beset on all sides by units who fill similar roles while possessing more utility, hampering him from being REALLY great

Overview: Yeah, ok, I know his localized name is fucking Vernil, fuck you I like Velnil better so I'll use it if I want. It's some crazy lance guy in a crazier horse that looks like some Sleipnir bullshit, you know what I'm talking about dammit. Anyways, Velnil is one of those guys that you look at and have no idea what the fuck is going on, both the art and the mechanics actually, so let's start with mechanics. Essentially, he buffs your units to occasionally inflict ailments on enemies, AFTER they attack you - it doesn't preemptively curse you or whatever. On the flip side, especially in raid, when you have bosses+body parts realistically attacking 4-5 times each every turn, that ends up being like 12-20 attacks on your team a turn, and that's a LOT of fucking chances to proc each ailment even at only 10-15% proc rate. It's one of the more interesting mechanics JP has come up with in a while, and one of the few I actually like.

Unfortunately, those jerkbutts at Alim waited all of about zero batches to introduce Velnil's replacement, Kafka, who is basically Velnil but also adds OFFENSIVE ailment buffs (which work the same as Edea/Tora/Fadahl/etc), because they hate horses or something I guess. And then Gumi, not to be outdone, added Zenia to the god damn fracas to ensure that no one in the history of ever actually WANTED badass horse guy. Screw you all, Velnil is still pretty decent.

Strengths

Really good at inflicting ailments, like, REALLY good, arguably best in game on global currently

Inflicting all 6 ailments at potentially extremely high rates (if you get attacked 20 times, that's a 90% chance to proc on at least SOMETHING on the raid boss) is pretty cool, on par with/better than most of his competition, even titans like Semira

+200% BB mod is pretty damn good too... as Zenia so helpfully demonstrates. Sigh.

650% BB mod is NOT bad at all, especially considering the +200% mod thing means he's basically chilling with a Loch-tier 850% SBB.

GREAT stats overall, HP is a touch low but hitting ~3k in both atk and def means that he gets a LOT of benefit from stacking defense buffs like mad

ES gives him a nice chunk of free spark damage for... some reason

Weaknesses

You remember that 90% number? Yea, that's not really realistic. REALISTICALLY body parts each attack 4-5 times at most, that's more like a ~35% chance on each body part, give or take a bit

Also, remember that those procs are in response TO attacks, and not preemptive - you still get fucking rekt that turn, only next turn do you get any benefit

Also, his SBB is ridiculously expensive at 56BC - effectively identical to Tridon SBB in cost, and unlike Tridon he is generally not a primary target for Heresy Orb

It's probably not a surprise to anyone that the guy who lets you spam ailments to people who are vulnerable to them and attack you a lot MIGHT be kinda decent in raids

If anything, this is quite literally the content he was designed to shine in, and to some degree he does; Velnil is probably the best overall raid ailment inflictor available on global right now

...Though we do have Edea for half of them...

......And Kafka coming up next batch to do everything, but better...

.........And Zenia is omnipresent in raid...

Trials

Most trials feature absolute immunity to curse/paralysis/poison, don't attack THAT much, and are mostly dangerous from massive HP checkpoint attacks than 'normal' damage

Velnil's design is seriously a diametric opposite of how trials work

SOME trials/bosses can be cheesed to some degree with him if they happen to be vulnerable to one of his better ailments, but in general you'd be better off just using Semira for that

I want to like Velnil. I really do. Before Kafka came out, before Zenia was a thing, I honest to god thought he was a REALLY strong unit, probably a 9/10, and potentially raid meta defining

...Then Alim shit on us with the powercreep batch and Kafka's bullshit, and Gumi just hit us with Zenia that removed his chance to shine in the meantime before we got Kafka

Much like Reyes, he's a conceptually strong unit who was completely invalidated within a single batch by incredibly lazy design by Alim mixed with ridiculous amounts of powercreep

Gumi just accentuated on global with Zenia; she's not to blame, but she does hurt him bad

He's VERY usable in conjunction with Raaga, and in fact fairly strong for raids right now, but has essentially no long term prospects

Final rating: 6/10. I'm sorry guys, he's good on paper, I love his design, I WANT to like him, but Alim/Gumi just seem determined to fuck him without lube

Overview: Aside from being one classy motherfucker, Vesti (fuck you I'm not calling her Bestie) is also both the namesake of her batch and probably the most dominantly powerful of the set - sporting a variety of extremely useful (and rare) buffs on her SBB and a very versatile and powerful leader skill, she's easy to fit into most teams in either a lead or sub role, and will bring a LOT to the vast majority of teams when you do bring her along. Great lead, good generic friend to bring along, safe sub, even a great arena unit, though we'll get more into that later. She DOES have some competition for some of her roles though, and unlike her absolute dominance on JP she actually has some legitimate competition on Global, possibly with more incoming depending on whether or not Andaria embraces her BC generation abilities as a 7 - but having some competition is FAR from the same thing as Vesti suddenly magically being bad.

Strengths

Prrrrobably the most slot efficient BC generation sub in the game, only really competed against by Diana there, but unlike Diana she doesn't have massive buff clash with better units so Vesti is very easy to fit into most teams

+1 hit ES means that her basic attacks turn her into a walking BC battery, and hit pretty hard to boot

BB also offers BC regen for 3 turns and an instant refill, not great per se but situationally useful

Not that this is exactly anything new for RS 7s, but her stats are pretty good, almost hitting 3k attack post-imps

Fashionable as fuck

Normally, this is the part where I'd say she's the best Fire sub in a Quaidbow team until Michele hits

3000 attack, 78DCs after ES, and very strong HP cap along with a MTBB is a REALLY good combo

However, global just got real fuckin' interesting thanks to Ultor, who beats her in damage even WITH her ES going, and is also MUCH more survivable than her thanks to much larger innate defense buffs (though slightly lower base) and more importantly, a 100% full heal Angel Idol ES

Does that make her bad? Oh god no, Vesti is still easily one of the strongest possible fire subs available in arena today and for the foreseeable future; even when Michele hits she's still very viable

However, the question of if she's the best rather than just viable is now a lot harder to answer

Put simply, Ultor fills a Selena-esque role of being incredibly difficult to put down while doing immense damage, and unlike Selena, he doesn't have much trouble making it to round 3 thanks to Taunt making him incredibly tanky from his full-heal ES vs her 1hp survival ES

Vesti isn't nearly as survivable, but she does excel at BC generation where Ultor doesn't (78 vs... 22 I think) and has a MTBB where he doesn't, so she's much better at round 2 wipes. She also benefits heavily from high +attack leads (Toutetsu) due to her ES essentially double dipping on attack buffs; Toutetsu+Sky Harbinger (+360% attack) take her up to a fucking 920% basic attack, ~30600 damage pre-defense. Compared to Ultor breaking 40k that might not sound as impressive - but spoiler alert, you only really need to break ~15k damage to reliably oneshot most arena enemies, ~20k to oneshot the absolutely tankiest shit you can find, and ~30k to oneshot almost everything even with mitigation or half damage random rule going

tl;dr: Vesti is better if you need hella BC gen and round 2 wipes, Ultor is better as a brutal immortal monster who goes around fucking everything to death

...Or you can just use Ultor lead and Vesti sub to fix his LS/attack shitty BC gen. HELLO MONO-SATAN TEAM!

Actually, funny thing, Vargas lead works pretty well with them subs too; I wouldn't say monofire is the next best thing (fucking enemy Selenas everywhere man) but it's actually reasonably viable now

Or you could just use Toutetsu lead, Selena/Ultor/Vesti/whoever subs, and have the best of every world

Raid

Hmm, a place filled with enemies who hit you with lots of AOEs, where BC gen is at a premium, and where HP leader skills are useful

I WONDER IF VESTI MIGHT BE GOOD HERE

Spoilers: yes

Raid is definitely one of Vesti's strongest suits for pretty much all the reasons listed throughout the review so far; great BC gen, easy to fit in, great LS...

However, she does have some fairly global-unique competition in the form of (don't laugh) Alice, whose synergy with Deimos is pretty great, between them offering an Ares buff, 40% HP, and a strong BC on hit permabuff that can't be wiped, unlike Vesti's SBB buff.

Alice's SBB conversion rivaling a ~140-160% (or higher) attack buff in this scenario actually makes her a strong competitor for Vesti in the incredibly high HP setting of RC4/5 raid bosses; as crit teams crash and burn, spark, BB damage, and attack buffs/conversions have all become vastly more useful

So... does that make Vesti shit? Oh god no, she's still great, and sometimes you actually do want/need both Vesti's BC on hit AND Deimos's BC on hit for BC gen. RC5 is not a fun place.

Essentially, this actually boils down to a comparison very similar to Ultor vs Vesti - Vesti brings better individual utility/BC gen IF you need it, but if you don't, Alice's reasonably large damage lead (true values vary depending on team and spheres, but generally gonna be ~10%+ more team damage, possibly higher) will help you pull off higher contribution and faster kills in general

PERSONALLY I prefer Alice due to my massive ladyboner for Deimos, but if you don't have/use Deimos or Tridon (Tridon LS has 50% rec for Alice to play with) then Vesti is probably a better pick overall - it's not like extra BC on hit ever hurt anyone, right?

It's also worth noting Kikuri, Diana, and Medina as competition, but honestly - Diana got shat on by Tridon and Vesti finishes the job, Medina isn't that amazing either, and Kikuri... well Kikuri is still really good, personally I use her a ton, but if you aren't getting much value from her ailments then she arguably falls to Vesti as well - kinda depends - her SBB DCs obliterate Vesti's on multiple targets but BC drop resistance muddles things

...And most of RC5 is vulnerable as fuck to ailments, so Kikuri shines there as well. Really just use whichever fits your team better

Trials

Hoooo boy, the competition starts getting real fuckin' thin here

In a world dominated by an absolute need for maximum slot efficiency, where you can NEVER have too much BC gen, Vesti fits like a glove

Again she has basically the same competition, and again most of them are very usable

However, here her LS is arguably more valuable due to the absolute premium on BC control, so it's usually easier to slot her into a squad in terms of overall value

Also, again, Vesti's all-in-one utility makes her extremely valuable

Not gonna make any big judgement calls about her actually being BETTER than her competition here, especially if you prefer Deimos lead, but she's a very strong option

Frontier Hunter

Runs into the exact same issues as Kikuri and Alice here - BC on hit (unless innate) is completely worthless to most FH approaches, and unlike Alice she doesn't even offer great damage to go along with the Ares buff for 1TKO Terminus squads

Still, decent individual damage and Ares buff do ensure that she's perfectly usable here, if a little ghetto at times, mostly as a 2TKO ghetto squad sub

Sorry guys I know this section sucks, but FH is a really stupid place and the 'meta' there is very constrictive

Seriously though as long as you're getting your target goals each season, or at least the Legwand from Term, just do whatever works

Synergies

Vesti DOES NOT offer BC% buffs, so she works best in teams that provide one of those - her Ares buff makes them much stronger (or vice versa, if you prefer to look at it that way)

BC on hit from leader skills can be REALLY fun with a BC/hit buff. Deimos is probably the most 'meta' example of this; 7-12 BC every time you get hit is lulzy as fuck

Overall

An exceptionally versatile and powerful unit who has an uncommonly broad range of strengths, extremely useful in arena, trials, and raids alike

Has no real superiors; at best her competition is situationally on par or better, and her future prospects are pretty bright as well, at least until Rivera hits and ruins everything, GG flower booby waifu

Final Rating: 9/10. While she does suffer from a bit of extra competition on global and struggles with the upcoming (and ridiculously overpowered) Rivera who eclipses her BC on hit spot while offer 500 times more utility in general, Vesti's LS and buff profile are a strong combination that keep her perfectly viable for the foreseeable future

Overview: Hellllllooooooo nurse. Ninja. Whatever. Sporting some of the more unique art (is her scroll a dragon?) in the game and failing HORRIBLY at stealth by dint of a bodacious bod, Kagura simultaneously manages to be the token sexy ninja cosplayer and carve a niche for herself so small that she might as well not exist - holy shit, she IS a ninja, this was her plan all along! Seriously though implying I wasn't serious she is unfortunately fairly niche, helping Thunder units rekt Water enemies, and Water units rekt Fire enemies, and... doing absolutely nothing else of value because 20% atk down pretty much just sucks. Sorry hun. UBB sucks too, it's a roughly 99% chance of -60% enemy attack and adds +2 hitcount at normal damage - even JP has plenty of units with FAR better UBBs, and global has completely retarded monsters like Zenia to laugh as they dance on her UBB's grave. Bring her for the SBB or don't bring her at all.

Is REALLY good at helping monothunder teams shrek water enemies, and monowater (+Kag) teams shrek Fire enemies

Looks REALLY good - may distract enemies from murdering the rest of your team (is that how atk down works?)

Not that bad situationally, even weak attack down can help a bit, and if you're doing stuff like Tazer vs Bal Media, she can speed things up a bit

Honestly not that great overall though, most raid bosses, ESPECIALLY in RC5, are multiple elements and it's very difficult to run a mono, much more a monothunder/water

Trials

Can be good for Seria EX trial; you already want to run a water-heavy team there, they're all fire element... works out pretty well for faster kills

Gotta be honest with ya here though, water/fire trials are a rarity otherwise though and being decent in 1 trial isn't exactly a shining recommendation when she's 100% useless in most of the rest

Overview: The OG of infinite multitarget SBBs, Nemeth Gear got a pretty crazy amount of hype on release that he initially failed to live up to before people realized his UBB was pretty good on stuff that you can critsplode. Unfortunately, outside of that he doesn't do a whole lot to earn a slot in /most/ situations; in raid you're generally better off using someone who contributes to team - Alice SBB has a similar buff profile, but MUCH better, and offers more damage individually and drastically more for team, for example. Still, he has his uses; plenty of trials feature alternating between single enemies and multiple targets, and as mentioned his extremely offensive UBB has very strong situational use as well. Disabuse yourself of the notion about infinite-use SBB being super godmode overpowered or even all that useful generally now, but he's still a pretty solid unit

Strengths

Infinite SBB is pretty nice once it gets going - not having to worry about refilling it is obviously cool in situations with low BC gen

Ares buff is always useful. I mean, it's literally just free bonus value for your BC

UBB is incredibly powerful on anything not crit immune - can oneshot many enemies that would otherwise require a much longer and arduous battle

Weaknesses

SBB offers jack fucking shit for utility except for the Ares buff, and much better units (Vesti, Alice, Exvehl I guess) have it, with more to come

UBB is awesome on paper - but crit chance/resistance is a very real thing, and Nemeth UBB is pretty fuckin' trash when it's there. It's still good situationally, gets used to great effect on JP to this day for certain stuff, just not really your solution to everything or even most things

Individual damage really isn't that high compared to most of his 'real' competition. Yes he has an +80% attack ES, but Alice has a ~140-160% boost (that applies to her AND her team), Zenia is chilling with +200% BB mod on top of her own +110% attack ES... the list goes on. Nemeth is really just pretty bad damage overall unless his UBB is up AND the enemy is vulnerable to it

SBB is pretty expensive to even get to (53BC), which can fuck him over bad in heavy BC drain situations

Requires a crit buffer in team for UBB to do jack fucking shit whatsoever

Roles
Arena

3k attack, 30DC, MTBB - not a bad setup, especially with an ES that boosts turn 2 BB damage significantly

Unfortunately, much like Kagura, he really doesn't do much else. Units that can hit ~2800-3k attack and ~30DC with multitarget BBs are a dime a dozen these days, and his BB isn't anything particularly special either

Perfectly usable as a sub, but probably not your best option

Raid

Look I'm just gonna be blunt here, Alice is literally just a better Nemeth Gear here on pretty much every level unless you're getting great use out of his UBB

What does that mean? It means you study your fucking opponent, look it up to see if they're crit immune, and decide whether or not to go to town with Nemeth

Honestly though, with most RC4/5 raid bosses, you want to kill a specific body part (usually crit resistant/immune) first, then just blow up the rest of it (which is also commonly crit resistant/immune). Nemeth doesn't help much, especially compared to Alice

If you're just looking to speedclear a raid quest and the main body isn't crit immune, though, Nemeth CAN be pretty good

Trials

Nemeth is kinda weird here - not necessarily in a bad way, just... weird

He shines in trials where you want to kill multiple people simultaneously, and sucks dongers compared to Yuura/Oguro in situations where you want to kill specific targets first

Non-crit-immune/resistance trials can be cheesed pretty hard with Nemeth, though, especially if you bring a Hero Crystal along, ESPECIALLY once the JP UBB revamp comes that lets it not waste a turn

I hesitate to say he's GOOD for trials per se, most approaches will benefit more from Oguro/Yura/Alice/Vesti whatever, but he can be very usable!

Frontier Hunter

If you already have a pretty good array of offensive buffs, Nemeth can fit an Alice-ish role of adding both Ares buff and decent damage in one unit for some Terminus 1TKO squads

Unfortunately, he lacks her team attack buff, so he contributes much less

On the flip side, infinite MTSBB can actually be pretty handy in Terminus thanks to the 1 unit rooms

Overall not a bad option per se; I feel Alice brings more overall but Nemeth is perfectly usable here for those of us who just want to autobattle Term

Overview: Reyes has had an... interesting lifespan. On release, he was seen as literally just a better Colt, sporting a slightly improved LS with better BC gen and damage, a SBB that added an additional 50% crit damage, and an additional +100% crit damage himself to ensure that he hit drastically harder than Colt and additionally boosted team damage by a bit more.

Then Glyph happened.

Sporting an identical LS and multiple additional buffs on SBB (30% Ares, Fire/Water retyping) while still getting the same crit chance buff to team from ES, on top of a MUCH better HP total (seriously, we're talking about 600 more HP), he pretty much literally just removed any reason for Reyes to exist. And this is AFTER the great Crit Exodus of 2015, with crit leads already falling off - Glyph offers MUCH more as a sub (and lead) than Reyes ever did. This isn't even a Zenia vs Raaga thing, where the difference isn't THAT huge and a Raaga works decently enough, this is a guy who literally does everything Reyes ever did, and then adds MULTIPLE strong and useful buffs on top of that, along with immensely better HP.

Unfortunately, the sheer level of outclassed Reyes has to deal with means that there's very little reason to actually write a full review on him. If you have one, he's a slightly better Colt, but he will be obliterated in the very next RS batch by Glyph... and Glyph will be a very common friend lead, so it's not like it'll even be hard to find one. There's no reason to summon for him whatsoever, and considering how utterly he'll be outclassed, you're honestly probably better just relying on Colt in the meantime. He does look pretty cool though, she has that going for him...

Overview: I know I'm like a kid in a fuckin candy shop here every time I like someone's art, but I'd really like to take a moment to talk about how fuckin AWESOME this guy's art is. He's some super samurai badass, looks kinda like a preying mantis or some shit and hits like 400 trucks. Overall usefulness wise, unfortunately he falls behind a little due to only offering a single offensive buff, one that isn't THAT strong to be worth a slot by itself, and a very common buff at that; even before 7 Michele arrives and shreks his existence, Deimos offers a perfectly usable 100% attack buff, and he's not exactly rare, much less limited in use otherwise. Slamurai bro still has his uses though, while he's not exactly maximum meta.

Short review on DoT mechanics, honestly doing this mostly from memory, read my Magnazorda review (or I think Xerte on Reddit also did an analysis) for more details

DoT has 100% proc rate and cannot be resisted

Damage is based on attack, not enemy HP

Scales with attack boosts, but DOES NOT benefit from crits, sparks, BB damage mods, elements, etc

tl;dr version decent damage in trials/arena, falls off hard in raids when you have more damage mods

Strengths

Pretty good individual damage thanks to his monstrous attack stat

REALLY rips shit up in arena

140% attack buff is never not good

Weaknesses

Limited (read: nonexistent) utility

Actual damage contribution in raids etc is fairly low

Clashes horribly with Deimos and the future Michele in particular

Roles
Arena

Kotatsu's main claim to fame and what he's best known for

130% attack buff round 1 is kinda big, and by kinda I mean pretty much highest in game

Round 2, his BB is basically a guaranteed wipe - DoT that big, with that much attack, is gonna turn the bad guys into a fine paste

Synergizes INCREDIBLY well with bonus hit ESes/spheres (Vesti ES, Lexida, Halloween spheres) due to attack buffs double dipping on bonus hits; NO ONE does 'you fucking die round 1' teams better than Kotatsu here

Special note to Vesti and Selena synergy, but in general he also works well with high attack people like Ultor who appreciate the little extra push to straight up murder everyone

In the future, Michele offers strong competition, and currently Quaid already does, but Kotatsu's lack of sub element requirements makes him a very strong arena lead even if he lacks a bit in utility, /arguably/ the best or at least one of the best

Raid

Okay, look, I'm gonna level with you here, Brotatsu here is not a great raid unit

Yes, he has an attack buff, but that's about it. Individual damage isn't amazing, a 140% attack buff doesn't change much (especially when Deimos is everywhere and gives 100% for free, or Ultor for 200%), and DoT sucks ass in extremely high-damage environments with crit/spark/elements in play

That doesn't mean he's total ass, switching between BB and SBB gives him a solid overall damage contribution, but in general you have better options for both attack and crit buffs, and in the future you have WAY better options for both

Ark and Michele are both nearly omnipresent in the future, and on global, the ever-awesome Deimos and his adopted brother Ultor also offer extremely strong attack buff competition

Crit wise, Michele again matches him (and has much better utility/damage), while Glyph is a terrifyingly powerful sub as well. Even Reyes/Colt do the job better.

Trials

Well... he's fun for cheesing Zevalhua with Ruby UBB and double Kotatsu lead, but real dawg talk, that's not a legit approach for the actually hard trials

He's honestly not that bad as a pure DPS sub in general though, especially in multitarget trials; crit/attack buffs in one guy is cool (granted, Michele is better), and his DoT can really shine here

Frontier Hunter

This FH specifically he's actually very solid as an attack buffer in oneshot teams; Deimos's inability to spark worth shit andlack of ability to get refills via BC on hit mean that he's not great for 1TKO teams, while Kotatsu is easy to fund and offers better offensive ability

Longer term though, Michele is literally him but better for 1TKO and she's probably no more than 1-1.5 months out at most

Synergies

Anyone with an attack->whatever conversion really likes a chunky attack buff, with 7 Melchio coming to mind as a guy with a great atk->def conversion

Multiple hit abilities (ES, BB, sphere, UBB buffs; think Lexida, Ruby/Sefia/Zenia UBB, etc) all work VERY well with attack buffs thanks to essentially cloning the buff multiple times

Overall

So look, here's the deal, I'm not gonna lie and tell you Kotatsu is great. He's niche. Limited. He's good at arena and situationally usable elsewhere, not some Deimos/Zenia level demigod

...But I'm not gonna sit here and tell you he's shit either. Arguably the best arena lead, situationally usable elsewhere, and pretty good in Terminus 1TKO squads as well. Even useful for some basic attack cheesing.

Don't be disappointed if you got him, he honestly is a solid unit, it's just that like many units he has a niche rather than being universal. Use the niche. Own it. BE THE NICHE. Just don't expect unrealistic things from him.

Final rating: 7/10. A solid unit with a strong niche who is unfortunately beset on all sides by units who fill similar roles while possessing more utility, hampering him from being REALLY great

Overview: Yeah, ok, I know his localized name is fucking Vernil, fuck you I like Velnil better so I'll use it if I want. It's some crazy lance guy in a crazier horse that looks like some Sleipnir bullshit, you know what I'm talking about dammit. Anyways, Velnil is one of those guys that you look at and have no idea what the fuck is going on, both the art and the mechanics actually, so let's start with mechanics. Essentially, he buffs your units to occasionally inflict ailments on enemies, AFTER they attack you - it doesn't preemptively curse you or whatever. On the flip side, especially in raid, when you have bosses+body parts realistically attacking 4-5 times each every turn, that ends up being like 12-20 attacks on your team a turn, and that's a LOT of fucking chances to proc each ailment even at only 10-15% proc rate. It's one of the more interesting mechanics JP has come up with in a while, and one of the few I actually like.

Unfortunately, those jerkbutts at Alim waited all of about zero batches to introduce Velnil's replacement, Kafka, who is basically Velnil but also adds OFFENSIVE ailment buffs (which work the same as Edea/Tora/Fadahl/etc), because they hate horses or something I guess. And then Gumi, not to be outdone, added Zenia to the god damn fracas to ensure that no one in the history of ever actually WANTED badass horse guy. Screw you all, Velnil is still pretty decent.

Strengths

Really good at inflicting ailments, like, REALLY good, arguably best in game on global currently

Inflicting all 6 ailments at potentially extremely high rates (if you get attacked 20 times, that's a 90% chance to proc on at least SOMETHING on the raid boss) is pretty cool, on par with/better than most of his competition, even titans like Semira

+200% BB mod is pretty damn good too... as Zenia so helpfully demonstrates. Sigh.

650% BB mod is NOT bad at all, especially considering the +200% mod thing means he's basically chilling with a Loch-tier 850% SBB.

GREAT stats overall, HP is a touch low but hitting ~3k in both atk and def means that he gets a LOT of benefit from stacking defense buffs like mad

ES gives him a nice chunk of free spark damage for... some reason

Weaknesses

You remember that 90% number? Yea, that's not really realistic. REALISTICALLY body parts each attack 4-5 times at most, that's more like a ~35% chance on each body part, give or take a bit

Also, remember that those procs are in response TO attacks, and not preemptive - you still get fucking rekt that turn, only next turn do you get any benefit

Also, his SBB is ridiculously expensive at 56BC - effectively identical to Tridon SBB in cost, and unlike Tridon he is generally not a primary target for Heresy Orb

...Also, look, let's be real here, Zenia is a thing

And Kafka is as well in one more RS batch

Also I honestly don't feel like he's that great of a sparker but YMMV

Pretty much all the generic 7 checkboxes are filled; 3k attack, 30DC, MTBB

...Too bad Selena is a thing

There is never an actual reason to use Velnil over Selena as a sub, unless you're running a monowater, in which case I congratulate you on your bravado and edge away from your probably axe murdering insanity

Raids

It's probably not a surprise to anyone that the guy who lets you spam ailments to people who are vulnerable to them and attack you a lot MIGHT be kinda decent in raids

If anything, this is quite literally the content he was designed to shine in, and to some degree he does; Velnil is probably the best overall raid ailment inflictor available on global right now

...Though we do have Edea for half of them...

......And Kafka coming up next batch to do everything, but better...

.........And Zenia is omnipresent in raid...

God fucking dammit Alim/Gumi can't you at least let the guy have raids?

Trials

Most trials feature absolute immunity to curse/paralysis/poison, don't attack THAT much, and are mostly dangerous from massive HP checkpoint attacks than 'normal' damage

Velnil's design is seriously a diametric opposite of how trials work

SOME trials/bosses can be cheesed to some degree with him if they happen to be vulnerable to one of his better ailments, but in general you'd be better off just using Semira for that

Frontier Hunter

Raaga! Finally, a single reason to use Raaga over Zenia for anything ever!

Overall

I want to like Velnil. I really do. Before Kafka came out, before Zenia was a thing, I honest to god thought he was a REALLY strong unit, probably a 9/10, and potentially raid meta defining

...Then Alim shit on us with the powercreep batch and Kafka's bullshit, and Gumi just hit us with Zenia that removed his chance to shine in the meantime before we got Kafka

Much like Reyes, he's a conceptually strong unit who was completely invalidated within a single batch by incredibly lazy design by Alim mixed with ridiculous amounts of powercreep

Gumi just accentuated on global with Zenia; she's not to blame, but she does hurt him bad

He's VERY usable in conjunction with Raaga, and in fact fairly strong for raids right now, but has essentially no long term prospects

Final rating: 6/10. I'm sorry guys, he's good on paper, I love his design, I WANT to like him, but Alim/Gumi just seem determined to fuck him without lube

They're still perfectly usable dood. Toutetsu is a great arena lead and has his uses for basic attack cheesing stuff, Velnil is good in raids if you don't use Zenia, etc.

Vesti is all about slot efficiency. She's also all about BB management as well. If you don't need curse, IMO Vesti would be the all around better sub. She not only has the same BB fill on attack as Kikuri, but also offers better BB effectiveness for the party which really helps in starved areas (mini-Ares). If you need it you can also fire off her BB every so often for instant fill (for say a mitigator or healer in serious situations) and/or lack another unit for BB fill/turn. So she's really a BB battering ram as @Eleiryn pointed out.

If normal attacks are your thing, well she's got that too with her ES, which goes great with UBBs that offer it (even solid in Arena too). Make no mistake, Kikuri generates a shit ton of BC on her own (normal attack and SBB) but Vesti, if you have both of them, is just a bit easier to place in just about any team to cover just about every self sufficiency buff you could need.

Totetsu is, in my opinion, the top arena lead, so don't ever be sad about getting him. Yes arguments can commence but quaid/Michele users WILL feel the sunburst pinch at some point. And, as I've already expressed repeatedly, people try to do way to many cute, unnecessary things in arena.

I've also always secretly imagined the "AK" in AK-47 stands for something akin to "Aryan Killshot" or "Aryan Killer".

As for the word "Aryan", there's nothing inherently wrong with it. Germany tried to co-opt it but it really belongs to Iran.

I just pulled a Nemeth. I know he is only good as a Leader not as a sub.
If I want to make him as my Lead, what kind of spheres should I use on him? (ATM, I am using golem core and fallacy orb)
Also, for raid wise, what will be a good friend for him? Most likely, I will use him to raid Ghost Jewel, Letter from Deadland against Balmedia and Mitzug.
